If you’re ready to evolve from single hero images to producing projects and bodies of work, then we have the perfect development program for you. This workshop consists of inspiring education and 8 imaginative and executable project briefs shot over a 8 months period with constructive, insightful feedback on each project.

 

Course Outline:

The 2 hour sessions will be delivered every other week, consisting of an image review from the previous session (3 images per participant), followed by the next project brief and educational framework to equip you with the skills to execute it.

Sessions will be a mixture of predefined narrative based street projects and looking at a different photographers, their philosophy, aims and objectives and creative outlook. Working this way will enable you to understand your own artistry and develop your own creative style and vision.

You will then have one month to shoot the brief, making this a very practical, hands on learning experience.

Session 1 – Apr 28th

Session 2 – May 26th

Session 3 – Jun 23rd

Session 4 – Jul 28th

Session 5 – Aug 25th

Session 6 – Sep 29th

Session 7 – Oct 27th

Session 8 – Nov 24th

 

Each session will be an opportunity to show images shot since the last workshop for review.

About the Tutor:

Simon Ellingworth is a multi award winning Fine Art Street Photographer.

Simon has featured in the ‘International Photography Awards‘, was a finalist in the ‘International iPhone Photography Awards‘, ‘Mobile Photography Awards‘ & ‘Professional Photographer of the Year‘, previously runner up in ‘Professional Photographer of the Year‘ and ‘Sony World Photography Awards‘. Simon’s tutorials have been published by a number of blogs including Lifehacker, Life in Lofi, SLR Lounge. His limited edition Fine Art Street Photography prints are sold globally by Saatchi galleries and more.

Simon is a passionate educator, a lover of simplicity on both gear and technique and welcomes photographs of all abilities and with cameras from iPhones, mirrorless to DSLRs. He is super welcoming, inclusive and very enthusiastic.
